I alter clothing in Sherbrooke, by appointment, at my atelier in the Plateau Saint-Joseph. I take hems and fitting on quality garments: a dress, a skirt, dress trousers, a coat, a suit jacket.

Who I am
I have sewn in Sherbrooke since 1997. My work is custom curtains, shades and drapes, and my atelier is still a sewing atelier for window treatments. Clothing alterations are a service I am adding to it, with the same machine, the same hands and the same attention to detail.
You talk directly to the person who sews. There is no counter and no middleman.
What I alter
Hems and fitting, on quality garments:
- Dresses and skirts. A hem to redo, a piece to fit so it hangs the way it should.
- Dress trousers. The pair for the office or the special occasion.
- Coats and suit jackets. The pieces you keep for years and want to wear well fitted.
I like this kind of work: a good garment and a result you can see on you. I take the time to do each piece properly, and for a delicate piece, call me first.
How an appointment goes
I see people by appointment, at the atelier. Call me, tell me what you need altered, and we set a time. You bring the garment, I have you try it on, I mark what has to change and I tell you what is possible.

Curtains and clothing in the same appointment
If you also have curtains to shorten, line or rework, bring them along with the garment. I handle both in the same appointment, so you make one trip.
