Who collects your information
I am Nalia. My curtain-making atelier, Rideaux Nalia, located in Sherbrooke, Quebec, operates the rideauxnalia.ca website and collects the personal information described below.
What information is collected, and why
The quote request form collects:
- your name, to identify you when I call back;
- your phone number, to call you back;
- your email, if provided, so I can reach you in writing if you prefer;
- your project description and preferred callback time, if provided, to prepare the call;
- your IP address, held briefly in server memory to count the number of requests per day and limit abuse; it is never written to a file or a database.
No other personal information is collected elsewhere on the site. If you write, call, or text me a photo directly, that information is used only to answer your request. Your browsing is measured only if you accept the audience measurement described in the Cookies section.
How your information is sent
When you submit the form, it emails your information to me at info@rideauxnalia.ca, with a copy to Telos Machina, which makes sure the form works. It is not stored in a database on the site.

I am in charge of personal information protection at Rideaux Nalia. For any question, to view, correct, or have your information deleted, or to withdraw your consent, write to me at info@rideauxnalia.ca or call me at 873-200-4056.
Your rights
Quebec's private-sector personal information protection law gives you the right to:
- view the information I hold about you;
- have inaccurate, incomplete, or ambiguous information corrected;
- withdraw your consent to the use of your information at any time;
- ask for your information to be deleted, subject to any legal obligation to keep it;
- ask for a copy of your information in a structured, commonly used technological format.

Filing a complaint
If you have a concern about how your information is handled, contact me first at the details above. If your concern is not resolved to your satisfaction, you can file a complaint with Quebec's Commission d'accès à l'information, at cai.gouv.qc.ca.
Retention period
A quote request that does not lead to a contract is deleted from my info@rideauxnalia.ca mailbox no later than 24 months after it arrives, as is the copy Telos Machina receives. If a contract follows, I keep it with my business records for six years after the end of the contract year, then delete it. The service that delivers the form (Resend) keeps a technical copy under its own retention period.
Who has access to your information
Your information is accessible to:
- me, Nalia, to follow up on your request;
- the following service providers, only as needed to run the site:
- Telos Machina, which builds and hosts the site, manages audience measurement, and receives a copy of each request to make sure the form works;
- Cloudflare, which hosts the site;
- Resend, which delivers the form to the inboxes;
- Google (Google Workspace and Gmail), the email service that receives the requests;
- Google Analytics and Google Ads, only with your consent, to measure site traffic and how well my ads perform.
Disclosure outside Quebec
Some of these providers may process your information on servers located outside Quebec, including in the United States. Each provider applies its own security measures to protect the information entrusted to it.
Cookies
If you choose the site language with the FR or EN button, the site keeps that choice in a cookie called NEXT_LOCALE, for one year, to show the site in the language you chose. This cookie is necessary for the site to work and does not require your consent.
With your consent, given in the consent banner, the site also sets Google Analytics and Google Ads cookies to measure its traffic and how well my ads perform. Without your consent, no measurement cookie is set. Your choice is kept in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie, and you can change it at any time with "Privacy preferences" at the bottom of every page.
Automated decisions
The site does not make any automated decisions about you and does not carry out any profiling beyond the general audience measurement described above.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated. The most recent date appears at the top of this page.
