The cost of custom curtains depends on the fabric you choose, the window dimensions, and the pleat style. Every project is unique, so we provide a detailed, transparent quote within 48 hours of the consultation. The first 30 minutes of consultation are free, with no obligation. If your project goes ahead, the whole first hour is free. Beyond that, consultation and measuring time is billed at $20 per 30-minute block, which is $40 an hour, no tax.

Custom confection usually takes 1 to 3 weeks once the quote is approved and the fabric is selected. More complex projects, such as large bay windows or coordinated curtain and bedding sets, can take a little longer. We give you a precise timeline from the very start.

Nalia comes to you to take measurements, study the light in each room, and review fabric samples directly in your decor. It is the moment to discuss your needs and tastes, and to visualize the result before the first cut.

We offer in-home consultations in Sherbrooke, Magog and across the Eastern Townships, within roughly 100 km. Around Lake Memphremagog: Orford, Austin, Georgeville, Fitch Bay, North Hatley, Ayer's Cliff and Sainte-Catherine-de-Hatley. West: Bromont, Sutton, Lac-Brome (Knowlton), Waterloo and Knowlton. South: Coaticook, Compton, Waterville and Stanstead. East: East Angus, Cookshire-Eaton, Weedon, Scotstown and out to Lac-Megantic. North: Windsor, Richmond, Valcourt and Danville. For projects farther out, we warmly invite clients to meet Nalia at the atelier on Plateau Saint-Joseph, where you can see and feel the fabrics before choosing. Custom curtains are made to the exact dimensions of your windows, with the fabric, lining, and pleat you choose. Unlike big-box store models, they hang perfectly, last for years, and reflect your style. You work directly with the couturière, from the sketch to installation guidance.

A sheer is a light, translucent fabric that filters daylight and preserves your privacy without darkening the room. A curtain is more opaque, frames the window, and can block light depending on the lining you choose. Many of our clients across Estrie layer the two: a custom sheer for the day, a curtain for the evening. We craft both in our atelier.
